Annie Broderson serves as the Assistant Director of Trinity Lutheran Church Pembroke Pines’ Kind-hearted Krew Ministry which serves hundreds of people each year from our nearby communities as well as recently arrived immigrants with food, clothing, household goods, Christmas gifts, and more. Though our congregation may seem quite small, Annie helps us to serve in a big way. Through her passion and skills, Annie has enabled us to recruit energetic volunteers from throughout South Florida, find new sources of ministry support, organize and grow our online presence, and sustain the heavy load that has endured since the Covid pandemic first began. Outreach to local communities has blossomed under Annie’s vision as classes in crocheting and other arts have become mainstays of the ministry allowing us to expand as a truly intergenerational force for good. As our Assistant Director, Annie has encouraged us all to dream bigger dreams, and in faith to take risks in order to serve more deeply and effectively in new and important ways. This is why Annie is our 2023-2024 LSF Good Samaritan Initiative nominee.
