Through a variety of social services programs funded through state and federal contracts Family Focus works to strengthen families, welcome refugees and immigrants, care for the elderly, counsel teens and families in crisis and run safe place shelters and resource centers.
LSF Head Start provides high quality, no-cost, early education to low income families. When children receive the quality early childhood education they deserve, not only do children fare better, but communities do, too.
LSF Health Systems serves a 23-county region in North Florida. Through this system-wide approach, people at risk for or diagnosed with mental health and/or substance use disorders are able to find the help they need.

Julie, a victim of trafficking, receives housing and support for her and her newborn baby at a shelter for teen moms.
Through Head Start’s comprehensive services, Julie’s son receives healthcare at no-cost to Julie.
While her son grows in Head Start, Julie receives career counseling from her Head Start Family and Community Engagement Specialist. Julie achieves her lifelong dream of becoming a firefighter.
Julie recovers from the pressures and mental struggles of being a firefighter through the LSF Health Systems First Responder Peer Support program. Julie learns to find a work life balance and enjoy her time with her son.
