LSF HELPS FLORIDIANS
LSF – through LSF Family Focus, LSF Head Start, and LSF Health Systems – has over 1200 employees dedicated to helping Floridians of all walks of life regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and identity.
Through a variety of social services programs funded through state and federal contracts the dedicated staff of LSF Family Focus work to strengthen families, welcome refugees and immigrants, care for the elderly, counsel teens and families in crisis and run safe place shelters and resource centers.
Every child deserves the best start she or he can have, no matter their circumstances. That’s why LSF Head Start has, for more than 30 years, provided the highest quality early childhood education to children who otherwise might have been left behind. When children receive the quality early childhood education they deserve, not only do children fare better, but communities do, too.
LSF Health Systems is one of seven behavioral health Managing Entities (ME) contracted by the Florida Department of Children and Families to manage the state-funded system of behavioral health care for people who face poverty and are without insurance. LSF Health Systems serves a 23-county region in Northeast and North Central Florida.
