For Troubled Youth
Lord, nobody wants me.  The ones I want, I can't have.  Not my mom, not my dad, not my brothers and sisters, not my baby.  Nobody.  The places I want to live, I can't live.  Give me a place where I can be safe, loved, and wanted.

Dear Lord please hear my prayer.  I am praying for all of the clients who have been through our program and that are here in our shelter -- clients who were lost, abused, homeless, runaways.  We place our trust in you to please help our clients so they can find their way through life with your help.  Oh Lord, please help all of the shelters where clients are placed in our care that all may find their way with the power of love and prayer.  I pray continually for them to receive Christ and put the things of the world behind them.  There are so many in need of this, and I can’t stress how urgent this is for all of us.  Please Lord hear my prayer.  In Jesus precious name I pray.  Amen. -- B.S., Youth Shelter Dietary Specialist

Lord, today I pray, For the children that have not found their way, Through a life full of pain, Feeling there is nothing to gain.  I pray for children living on the street, To find their way to us so they can eat, Where they can sleep in warm beds, Without fear filling their heads.  I pray for families broken, Whose hope has been taken, Ones that have yet to learn, Where they can turn.  I pray we can help them heal, Wounds present and ones they have yet to reveal.  I pray you show us all a way To give those in need a better day.  Amen. -- P.L., Youth Shelter Residential Counselor
