For Victims of Disaster
For the victims of disaster we beseech that God should guide them with
his merciful right hand and let them re-enter their homes in safety and
peace. For the hungry and the thirsty we beseech that God should grant
them their daily food. Amen. -- by B.B.,

Understanding God, you know all
those whose lives have unraveled and who have experienced shock and grief
from disasters of all kinds. Grant them your courage and your strength
that with hope and faith they will experience the help they need and prevail
over their time of trial. Amen. -- J.B., LSF Board member
For the Economy, Our Nation,
the World
Our Father who art in heaven, I pray in the name of your son Jesus, for
your guidance and blessing in solving the difficulties that our country is
going through. I pray to you for our economy, our troops, and the
refugees that are coming to our country looking for the freedom and the hope
to have a better life for the future. I pray that you give wisdom and
skills to our leaders, not only our current President, but our future
President. We pray that you help us recuperate a strong economy that
will help our country continue to be the powerful nation that we know.
Give them fruitful ideas that will be heard by the countries of the entire
world. Oh Lord, I pray that you give us the knowledge to spread your
Word and help all the people in need. In the name of your son Jesus
who gave his life for our sins. Amen. -- M.H. Refugee
Employment Program Director
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that there would be more world peace, more of
the fruits of the spirit spread throughout. I pray for our leaders of
the world and within the confinements of our agency and others, from the top
down, with your direction as lead. There is nothing too great that you
can’t handle, and I pray that we believe it and receive it, in Jesus' name.
Amen. -- PR, Shelter Services Manager
